| The major cause of reactivation of latent viral infection is ongoing change in the immune status of the patient. The first call to the doctor in patients with chronic viral hepatitis is usually due to asthenia, decreased performance, and often a little yellowness of the skin. It is also possible dyspeptic syndrome (nausea, vomiting, bitter taste in the mouth, flatulence, diarrhea or constipation from time to time). When active, rapidly progressing forms of chronic hepatitis, these symptoms are usually more pronounced than in the forms of moderate activity, and may be accompanied by bleeding from the nose and gums, a fever or subfebrilitet, itchy skin, decline of power, more severe jaundice with lightening and darkening of the stool urine. |
